Spinal Energetics is an energy healing modality that works with the spine, nervous system, and energetic field to release stored emotions and tension, leading to physical and emotional healing.
Spinal Energetics is a deep somatic healing modality that combines Eastern and Western philosophies to release stress, trauma, emotional and mental issues. It works at every level of your being (body, heart, mind and soul) so it’s a truly holistic approach to wellbeing.

Treatment duration & prices
First appointment will include questionnaire & Treatment 75mins.
Actual treatment time approx 40mins per appointment.
Long term health issues will need additional treatments to enable your body to unwind and adjust.
Treatments are generally a series of up to three to six sessions but may be more depending on each individual, areas of concern, stress, past trauma event as the nervous system processes and the body adjusts.
Longer term health issues can take longer for the body to unwind.
Its normal that following any treatment that during clearing of fixations that it may be initially be uncomfortable whilst your body processes these changes and should pass within 48 hours.
What should I expect during my appointment?
You maybe asked some questions about your general health and the reason for your visit. Treatment times may vary according to your Practitioner. Your Practitioner is skilled to quickly assess and treat appropriately to your needs.
Spinal Energetics is not intended to replace or substitute any medical advice or treatment. It is recommended that you consult your General Practitioner about any health concerns.
The use of this therapy will be guided by the specific needs of the individual client, through assessment and observation.
What do I need to wear for an treatment
All treatments are performed whilst you are fully clothed, although some garments may need to be removed or loosened.
Please wear loose fitting clothes that you are able to move freely in!

What will I feel during treatment
Many of the initial changes that occur with Spinal Energetics are so slight that you may not notice them unless you pay very close attention or have exceptionally high awareness of your own internal physiology.
- A slowing or deepening of your breathing rate
- A sense of relaxation or ease in your body
- A feeling of calmness or clarity in your mind
As your system becomes more adept at producing change, many people (but not all) actually feel the craniosacral rhythm kick into high gear as it produces a wave-like movement that courses the entire length of your spine and or may produce other movement or twitching in the body as part of the releasing process.
Will I feel a wave or move during treatment?
No not necessarily. Many people process releasing their emotions & traumas internally, which is completely okay too. Every treatment session and person is different.

Contraindications
This list applies to in-person, online, one-on-one, and group sessions.
Pregnancy/ Postpartum
We advise that Spinal Energetics is unsuitable during the first and third trimesters of pregnancy. Spinal Energeics is also not suitable during the first 3-6 months of postpartum.
We highly advise that pregnant women in their second trimester only receive Spinal Energetics from a practitioner, a physiotherapist, GP or chiropractor.
Although this modality is generally considered safe, and alterations to processes can be made, rare cases may release trauma or a strong emotional response which we don’t recommend during these listed terms.
Children
Spinal Energetics is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Children between 13-18 need to have their guardian present during treatment.
Elderly
Spinal Energetics practitioners can treat clients up to the age of 75. Clients between the ages of 70 and 75 should be treated with extra caution. It is up to the practitioner's discretion to determine these clients' mobility capabilities and assess if they can cope with treatment.
Consent
Every new client must fill out a new client form and sign their consent for their Spinal Energetics practitioner to proceed with treatment.
The following conditions must not be treated by Spinal Energetics:
Each client is obligated to be honest in their new client forms and reveal all relevant conditions to their practitioner. It is then the practitioner's duty of care not to treat these clients and refer them to a specialist who is equipped to advise them.
- Diagnosed Severe PTSD
- Severe mental health conditions (bipolar, schizophrenia, psychosis)
- Currently taking heavy medication that alters brain chemistry (anti-depressant, anti-anxiety, antipsychotic)
- Recent physical injuries, fractures and/or surgeries
- Epilepsy
- History or diagnosis of aneurysms
- Cardiovascular problems
- History of seizures
- Severe Asthma
- Heart disease
- Heart conditions
- Hospitalisation for any psychiatric condition, emotional crisis, or spiritual emergence within the past three years
- Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions that would impair or affect their ability to engage in activities involving intense physical and/or emotional release.
